nepenthean's Diaryland Dream Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Science fail A scientist armed only with a clipboard attempted to measure a woman’s breathing for her experiment. The test results were blown when it was discovered she was holding a watch battery in her hand during the test. Somehow when the sunlight hit the battery, it would increase her blood pressure and she would hyperventilate. I stared at the battery in her hand and felt disappointed. No scientific awards for this one. Down the block a hugely, hugely fat woman rolled around in the middle of the street. A man was running from the scene. He hadn’t shoved her down, but he didn’t seem to be running to get her help either. It would have taken several people to get her off the ground. I was worried she would be hit by a car if someone didn’t intervene.
