nepenthean's Diaryland Dream Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- personal artifacts i was in my grandmother's house 2 years after she died. specifically, i was sitting on a stool in the kitchen, looking at a list of her last expenses. she'd sent my brother a check for his birthday, and sent "lc" a fairly large donation. most of the expenditures were for charities, unsurprisingly. then i was out in the add-on, running my hand over chairs that had not been used since we moved. everything was the same, even the dirt on the chairs! i sat down on one and my mom sat on the other. i told her how much smaller it seemed since the last time, but she didn't really say anything. i miss it all. 11:09 a.m. - 2004-05-26 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
