nepenthean's Diaryland Dream Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- aaliyah bedwell, foot dragging yesterday i read about the absolutely repugnant account of the sexual abuse of aaliyah bedwell, a child believed repeatedly assaulted by her father. google it and/or watch the video on youtube that her mother recorded for the police, who then did nothing apparently. after i went to bed, i woke up repeatedly. i had very strange dreams of dragging my legs down a gravel road, almost as though i didn't want to go wherever it was i was going. god only knows, god only knows. it was a rough night. the video, which you can find if you search for aaliyah bedwell and "daddy's worm," is not for the faint of heart. the good news is that her mother recently won a small victory in court and that media attention may begin to shine a light on the dysfunctional workings of placer county, california. god speed for this child. 4:27 a.m. - 2011-03-28 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
